This May Half Term, things are getting even more chocolate-y!

In partnership with The Chocolate Museum, join us for a family workshop to make, taste and learn about the world of chocolate.

Led by the Chocolate Museum team, our family Chocolate Tasting and Chocolate Truffle making workshops will uncover the history of chocolate whilst you enjoy a variety of chocolate tastings. Then, using what you learn as inspiration, you will get stuck in and let out your inner chocolatier as you make your very own simple chocolate truffles to take home.

Please note:

The workshop is best suited to “chocolatiers-in-training” aged 6-12 years old and their adults, but older children are more than welcome to participate.

The workshop lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes and takes place in our CLORE learning space, located in our Visitor Centre. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 1 adult can attend with up to 4 children.

Although the workshop is free for adults and children to attend, adults will need to purchase the £3 entry to Discover Greenwich (or upgraded tickets for site-wide access, including The Painted Hall) to be able to access the workshop and site. When booking on to a session, the tickets will automatically include your entry to Discover Greenwich.

There are limited spaces available in each session so booking in advance is strongly advised.

Allergens and Dietary Requirements

The workshop is completely nut free, but please be aware that the main chocolate products used contain dairy. However, The Chocolate Museum are able to provide a vegan alternative of an oat-based ganache which is dairy-free on request. When booking on to a session, please provide details of any allergens or dietary requirements of your group (you will be asked to provide this during the booking process).
