Join us for an exclusive evening with the artist behind the artwork on the opening night of Peace Doves.

 

In this exclusive event, Peter will delve into his artistic approach, the meaning behind the artwork – and how thousands of individual, hand-folded paper doves inscribed with messages of peace come together to create the artwork and transform the Painted Hall in its 300th anniversary year.

 

Timings:

  • 6.30pm – Check-in at King William Undercroft
  • 7:00pm: Talk Begins at the Painted Hall Upper Hall
  • 8.00pm: Q&A starts 
  • 8:30pm: Event ends 

 

Important notes: 
Please note that the main lift to access the Painted Hall is currently out of order due to a technical fault. There are 7 steps to access the King William Undercroft, 20 steps to access the Lower Vestibule of the Painted Hall, 16 steps to access the Main Vestibule the Painted Hall and a further 7 steps to access the Upper Hall.
